  2. I watched the opening on our iPad, we don't have television since april 1 and it's not a joke :-)! I liked the ceremony, we laughed very loud when we saw the queen jumping of the plain with James Bond! And when we saw Mr. bean playing in the orchestra we even woke up Harr, to make him laugh too!

  4. Harr and G. didn't watch television a lot, they didn't have their tv in the livingroom but upstairs in a little room they called the tv room. But when they didn't find anything interesting on tv anymore they decided to end their membership with the tv company and watch things that have been on tv on their computer at a site that shows things that have been on tv. now they watch sometimes on the computer screen of Harr's computer (witch is actually bigger then the tv screen was :-)! They save almost 200 euro a year this way! The olympics are shown live on the computer so that's how we were able to watch that live!

  5. We have been watching too - but not as much as we would like. It seems to be on at odd times over here. The Queen went parachuting?? Maybe she saw all of the brave teddy bears parachuting into Belarus and figured... if they can do it, then so can she! :)

  6. OH!! Well, Hammie, if you're saving lots of money just by watching on the computer, that's a very good thing!!! Do you watch your DVDs on the computer too?

Alexander - James Bond collected the Queen from Buckingham Palace in a helicopter and then they both parachuted into the Olympic Stadium!!!!! Hahahahahaaa!!

  7. Yes, we watch dvd's of our favorite series on the computer, like Friends and Cold Feet! The site that shows things that have been on tv is very good, almost everything can be found there, only series from other countries stay for a few days, Dutch things stay very long, that is because of the tv rights. And special things like rhe olympics or the Tour de France are even broadcasted live! Now they watch without the commercials every quater of an hour, and if you want to stop you stop, and if you missed something you just scroll back and watch that piece again, it's very practical! And the time that is saved by not watching tv is well spend, reading, walking, crochet, taking pictures etc...
